Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before joining our waitlist or becoming a patient. Don't see your question? Reach out — we're happy to help.
Start by joining our waitlist using the form on our homepage. We'll review your submission and reach out to schedule an initial consultation once we're ready to take on new patients. We're launching in July 2026 and are actively building our patient list now.
After you submit the waitlist form, a member of our team will contact you by phone or email to gather a bit more information and confirm your interest. Once we're scheduling, we'll reach out to book your initial psychiatric evaluation. You won't need to do anything in the meantime — we'll come to you.
We are launching telehealth services in July 2026 and are currently building our waitlist. Joining now is the best way to secure an early appointment. We will contact waitlist members in the order they signed up as scheduling opens.
We provide outpatient psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults across Massachusetts. If you're unsure whether we're the right fit for your specific needs, feel free to reach out and we'll be happy to discuss it.
We are currently private pay / self-pay only while we complete credentialing with major insurance plans. We are actively working through that process and will update our patients as soon as insurance panels become available. We appreciate your patience and will communicate any changes promptly.
Pricing information will be shared directly when we reach out to schedule your appointment. We are committed to transparent, straightforward pricing with no hidden fees. If cost is a concern, please mention it when we contact you — we want to make sure care is accessible.
Yes. We are credentialing with MassHealth, Aetna, CIGNA, Tufts Health Plan, Optum, Harvard Pilgrim, BCBS MA, Medicare, and several other major plans. Once credentialing is complete, existing patients will be able to transition to using their insurance for covered services.
Yes — psychiatric services are an eligible medical expense under most HSA and FSA plans. We recommend confirming with your plan administrator, but in most cases you can use these funds to cover your visits.
All appointments are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You'll receive a link before your appointment that you can join from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. No special software or downloads are required in most cases.
You'll need a device with a camera and microphone (smartphone, tablet, or computer), a stable internet connection, and a private, quiet space where you can speak comfortably. That's it — we'll handle the rest.
At launch, we are licensed to provide telehealth services to patients located in Massachusetts. You must be physically in Massachusetts at the time of your appointment. We will update our service area as additional licensure is obtained.
Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, typically 60 minutes. We'll take time to understand your history, current concerns, and goals. By the end, you'll have a clear picture of our clinical impressions and a proposed treatment plan — including next steps, any recommended medications, and follow-up timing.
Follow-up medication management appointments are typically 30 minutes. These are focused check-ins to review how you're responding to treatment, address any concerns, and adjust the plan as needed. Psychotherapy sessions are typically 45–50 minutes.
We offer both. In addition to psychiatric evaluation and medication management, we provide brief evidence-informed psychotherapy and psychoeducation. For patients who need more intensive ongoing therapy, we are happy to coordinate with or refer to a dedicated therapist and work as part of your broader care team.
We treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and sleep-related concerns, among others. If you're unsure whether your specific situation is within our scope, please reach out and we'll let you know honestly.
We take a conservative, evidence-based approach to prescribing controlled substances. When a controlled medication is clinically appropriate and supported by a thorough evaluation, we will consider it as part of a broader treatment plan. Our focus is always on finding the safest and most effective path to stability — which often involves non-controlled treatment options first.
Absolutely — and we encourage it. We work collaboratively with therapists, primary care physicians, and other specialists to ensure your care is coordinated and nothing falls through the cracks. With your consent, we're happy to communicate directly with your existing providers.
We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient who may need timely care. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee, which will be outlined clearly in your intake paperwork.
You can send records or referrals to [email protected] or by calling us at (774) 469-0128. We'll confirm receipt and let you know if any additional documentation is needed before your appointment.
Yes. All patient information is kept strictly confidential in accordance with HIPAA regulations. We use secure, encrypted systems for all communications and records. Information is only shared with other providers with your explicit consent, except in specific legally required circumstances which will be explained in your intake paperwork.
This form and our general contact line are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you're in crisis but not in immediate danger, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) — available 24/7. Once you are an established patient, we will provide guidance on how to reach us for urgent clinical needs.
