Meet the team

Thoughtful care.
From people who understand.

We built Healing Pathways because we believed something better was possible — a practice where clinical excellence and pharmaceutical expertise come together, and where every patient is genuinely known, not just treated.

Teresia Karanja
MSN, PMHNP-BC
Clinical Director

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) specializing in psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. My career spans inpatient, outpatient, detox, and child & adolescent psychiatry — including serving veterans at the VA and leading psychiatric nursing teams as a charge nurse. I take a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach and integrate medication management with psychotherapy and patient education. I treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, ASD, psychosis, schizophrenia and substance use. My goal is simple: to create a space where every patient feels safe, heard, and genuinely cared for.

Kelvin Rembert
PhD
Operations Director

I hold a PhD in Chemistry and spent over a decade in pharmaceutical drug product development and manufacturing. My role at Healing Pathways is to make sure the practice runs the way great clinical care deserves — with the same precision and attention to detail I brought to my scientific career. As Operations Director, I oversee the systems, workflows, compliance, and infrastructure that allow our clinical team to focus entirely on what they do best.

My goal is simple: every patient who comes to Healing Pathways should experience a practice that is as well-run as it is compassionate.
